Workplace Campaigns

The United Way workplace campaign is a familiar Delaware County, Ohio tradition. Every fall, area companies conduct workplace campaigns led by company volunteers. During group meetings, at special events and through personal contact with trained "key workers," employees learn about United Way, its agencies, and how donor dollars are used in the community.

If your company would like information about conducting a workplace campaign to advance the common good, contact United Way through this page, via phone at (740) 369-9618 or click here.

Pacesetters
Six area organizations will be running Pacesetter campaigns for the 2009 campaign.

  • American Family Insurance
  • Associated Hygienic Products
  • Bry-Air, Inc.
  • Delaware County
  • The Delaware County Bank & Trust
  • JC Penney - Polaris

Pacesetter organizations agree to run model campaigns and "set the pace" for the fall campaign season. To find out more about running a Pacesetter campaign in your organization, contact Laurie Cox at (740) 369-9618 or click here.

Payroll Deduction
Most people contribute to United Way through payroll deduction — it makes giving easy. Using electronic or paper pledge forms, you tell us how much you'd like to give. Your employer then sets aside a portion of your earning from each pay period.

Your United Way contribution goes to work creating lasting changes right where you live. Local volunteers invest your contribution in the areas of education, essential serviceshealth and income.
Corporate Matching Programs
Please talk to your Human Resources Director; your United Way gift may be eligible for a Corporate Matching Program.
